Manny on Instagram: "30 years ago between January 6th and 8th, 1996, a major blizzard, some consider it the GOAT, impacted the northeast with 20-30+ inches of snow. 🐐 In NYC alone, 20.5” was recorded but some areas saw up to 30” as well. Gusts up to 50mph, and snow drifts of up to 8 feet. 😳 Schools, streets, transit etc were all disrupted during and after the 37 hour storm.
