Ta'Nerriah Ward was arrested overnight after she posted on Snapchat that she'd be bringing a gun to school. It was in a group chat with other 6th graders at DeLand Middle School. We received a Fortify Florida tip around 9:40 p.m. and immediately started an investigation. Ta'Nerriah was taken into custody on 2 felony charges and taken to the Family Resource Center for processing before transport to DJJ.
