22 reactions | Bee anatomy 101: a bee’s mouth is made up of many working parts. They have two triangular jaws (the mandibles) that are used to handle objects, manipulate pollen and shape wax cells. Underneath these, is a long tongue used to suck up nectar and honey (like a straw!).
