Schlittler struck out Simpson, the Rays' leadoff man, looking at a 97-mph fastball on the inside corner to start a 1-2-3, 11-pitch bottom half and he made it six-up, six-down with an 11-pitch second, striking out Feduccia swinging at a 99-mph fastball to end the inning. Schlittler was at just 66 pitches through six.

The New York Yankees haven't been able to use star Aaron Judge in the field for weeks, and the injury is likely going to keep him from getting to 100 percent.

Boone, speaking on WFAN, said he doesn't see Judge returning to the outfield during this week's series against the Rays.

Although New York entered Saturday's game with the second-highest runs scored in the AL, the lineup isn't the same without its star.
