The eldest son of Norway's crown princess has been charged with 32 offences, including four counts of rape, a prosecutor says. The charges against Marius Borg Høiby, 28, include the abuse of a former partner and violations of restraining orders against another former partner.

Norwegian prosecutors on Monday announced that they have indicted the eldest son of Norway’s crown princess on multiple charges including rape after a lengthy investigation.

Crown Prince Haakon says the Norwegian royal family will continue their official duties following the announcement of rape and assault charges against his stepson, Marius Borg Høiby
