Kanguva starring Suriya in the lead role along with Bobby Deol and Disha Patani, has shown an underwhelming trend at the Hindi box office after taking a good start. The period drama collected around Rs 9 crore in its extended first weekend in Hindi.

As Suriya and Bobby Deol starrer Kanguva has been creating a massive buzz in the town, it saw a growth during the opening weekend.

Suriya's latest outing, Kanguva, is now inching towards Rs 150 crore worldwide. The film, directed by Siruthai Siva, had a slow start at the box office.

Backed by UV Creations and Studio Green, the movie also features Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil cinema debut. Kanguva is produced by K E Gnanavel Raja.

Given the ongoing trend, Kanguva is expected to a drop in numbers in the Hindi market. The movie is likely to mint Rs 1-1.5 crores as it inches towards Rs 12 crores mark. It will be interesting to see if Kanguva will cross Rs 12 crores in the Hindi market today.
