New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll says LT Andrew Thomas is "getting better" each day as the regular season nears.

Reserve running back Eric Gray has worn No. 20 since he was taken in the fifth round out of Oklahoma in the 2023 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 30 games, all as a reserve or as a kickoff/punt returner, and gained 79 yards on 31 carries. Gray has also caught 10 passes for 82 yards.

It was certainly not a memorable outing for New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields in his team's second preseason outing against the Giants. FIelds' stat line was ugly and despite playing in two series as opposed to one like the Jets' preseason opener,

Beaux Collins had an 80-yard catch that led to a touchdown on the Giants' first possession. Dalen Cambre had 45 yards on two receptions. Jordan Bly was on the other end of a 41-yard Tommy DeVito strike in the fourth quarter.

Although the Jets have recently dominated recent results, the Giants are favored by 3.5 points, and the Over/Under is at 39.5. The Jets scored 30 in a Week 1 preseason win, as new quarterback Justin Fields rushed for a TD. The Giants rolled up 34 points in their Week 1 exhibition victory, as three different QBs threw a TD pass.
