Guardians prospect Parker Messick shined in his MLB debut on the mound, but the Cleveland bullpen let him down in an extra-inning loss.

Messick was fantastic today. Looked like he was making his 167th career start… certainly not his 1st. Vogt pulled Messick with 2 outs in the 7th to let Gaddis face McCann… which is a nothingburger, I guess.
