After months of holding off, Sony has raised the price of its PlayStation 5 console lineup in the United States and the PS5 Pro is now a whopping $750.

Here is the list of new prices: PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – $499.99 PlayStation 5 Pro – $749.99 This is a step up of $50 for all three consoles, which is a big blow, especially for the PS5 Pro, which already had players gawking at the massive $700 pricetag when it first launched.

Sony is raising prices on all three of its PlayStation 5 consoles by about $50 in the U.S. due to what the company calls "challenging economic times." And earlier this month, Nintendo announced it would also raise prices due to market conditions.

Sony has joined the console price-raising bandwagon and hiked the MSRP of the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, and the PlayStation 5 Pro—each by $50. The PS5 will now cost $549, the PS5 Digital is $499,
