Coldplay are doing something no band has ever done before: reaching double digits for the number of appearances at London’s Wembley Stadium in a single tour. That’s right, the
Coldplay are playing 10 nights at Wembley Stadium, breaking the joint record set by Take That and Taylor Swift of performing eight shows at the venue in the same year. Doors will open at 16:45 (16:15 on Sundays), with the band expected on-stage at 20:20 (19:50 on Sundays).
Coldplay tickets are out right now from a number of online retailers. This includes the aforementioned viagogo, as well as Vivid Seats and StubHub. On these websites, prices have dropped drastically. The average price is under £100 each - down from the heady days of over £200 each.
Now, the band is preparing to play their final venue on the mammoth tour – London’s Wembley Stadium. The flight took 12 hours and meant leaving her beloved 10-month-old daughter at home with her mother – but the violinist is bursting with energy as she arrives for rehearsals at the iconic Air Studios in north London.
Doors open for the Coldplay Wembley nights at 5pm, and support acts start at 6pm, with Coldplay expected to take to the stage at around 8.15pm and finish around 10.30 pm, judging by previous dates from their tour. It’s worth noting, though, that these times can change according to circumstances on the night.
