Lincoln Fire and Rescue is offering free Knox Box kits — small boxes that hold keys to residential homes — with the aim of helping responders reach people in emergencies.

The city of Kyle’s Emergency Management division, announced Monday it launched a Knox-Box system that will allow responders to get into a home fast when there’s an emergency.
