Tired of having Microsoft Edge pop up on your Windows 11 or Windows 10 PC begging you to make it your default browser? If you're in Europe, Microsoft will be giving you a break.

Currently, Windows will periodically pop a notification asking the user to set Edge as their default browser, even when Edge isn't running. Going forward, Windows will no longer do this.

Another chance to avoid Edge has been implemented in Europe, as Windows 11 now opens links from the widget board in your default browser.
