Microsoft has now announced that it will remove support for the Adobe Flash Player for its Edge Browser “at the end of 2020”.
Microsoft also clarified that Flash Player will be removed from Chromium-based Edge by January 2021 and that it won't give Windows users Flash updates for its legacy browsers.
Both the legacy version of Microsoft Edge and the new Microsoft Edge will lose support for Adobe Flash Player at the end of 2020.
They made certain to tell users that Adobe Flash Player content would cease to function at the end of the year 2020 on both Microsoft Edge (and Microsoft Edge Legacy) as well as Internet Explorer 11.
