Hundreds of Ole Miss students braved rain for hours in line to see VP JD Vance and Erika Kirk at Turning Point USA event honoring the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Thousands packed The Pavilion at Ole Miss Wednesday night to hear Vance and Kirk. The Democrats’ “counter-event” across campus drew roughly 100 and featured “Drag Bingo” after the event.

At the time of Charlie Kirk’s death, Turning Point USA had pulled in close to $400 million over 12 years and Kirk had amassed millions of followers.
