Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala says “nobody is to blame” for the serious left leg injury he sustained last week. The Germany international fractured his fibula as a result of a broken ankle in Bayern’s Club World Cup quarter-final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday following a collision with goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala said no one was to blame for the horrific leg-break he suffered in their Club World Cup quarter-final against Paris St Germain, adding on Wednesday that "situations like this happen".

More than the defeat, the highlight of the match was Jamal Musiala's injury right at the stroke of halftime. The 22-year-old German had an unfortunate collision with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, and as a result he suffered a fractured fibula.
