After the San Francisco 49ers’ Week 9 win over the New York Giants, head coach Kyle Shanahan said, “We’re worried it’s an ACL” when referring to first-round pick Mykel Williams’ injury.

Defensive end Rashan Gary tore his right ACL against Detroit at Ford Field on Nov. 6, 2022, and returned nine months later, practicing for the first time on Aug. 7, 2023. He took part in the rest of training camp and played in the season opener.

The Green Bay Packers lost ascending tight end and first-year team captain Tucker Kraft to a season-ending ACL tear during Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers.
