Notepad keeps getting better in Windows 11. Microsoft is adding spellcheck, autocorrect, and even a character count soon.

Microsoft has finally added a much-requested feature to Notepad, with spellcheck and autocorrect now available in Windows 11.

Microsoft has added bold, italics, lists, hyperlinks, and even Markdown to the Windows Notepad app, making it look more and more like the now-defunct WordPad.

The freshly updated Notepad app with native Arm64 support is rolling out now to Windows Insiders on Windows 11 Microsoft's Dev, Beta and Release Preview channels.
