It's easy to download a PDF document on an iPhone and save it to an app like Apple Books or iCloud Files. Here's how to do it.

You can also use the Share icon to save the document as a PDF to your Files app, Google Drive, or another file storage service, or save it as a JPEG to your Photos app.

Once you are satisfied with how your signature placement looks, just select "Done" to save it. Your signature will be added to the PDF file and you can send it.

You don’t have to save your scan in Notes, you can also scan directly into Files, where your document will automatically be saved as a PDF. Open Files on your iPhone (or iPad).
