Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch on the major cities in his state seeing an increase of activity from the violent Tennessee gang and what they are doing to combat this crisis.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - State leaders are warning of a dangerous gang that formed in prisons in Venezuela called Tren de Aragua that has been spotted in all major cities in Tennessee. TBI Director David Rausch said the gang has been known for human trafficking and bringing Venezuelan women to the United States and Tennessee illegally.

The violent Venezuelan gang "Tren de Aragua" has resurfaced in Tennessee cities, involved in various crimes including human trafficking and confrontations with cartels.

In response to media inquiries and public interest about the transnational Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, TBI's Public Affairs Office is making available the following remarks from Director David Rausch.
