A Vermont man accused of leading Massachusetts police on a high-speed chase and dragging a state trooper was taken into custody, police said.

A suspect wanted out of Vermont who dragged a Massachusetts State trooper on I-91 in Holyoke on Tuesday has been arrested in Stamford.

This year's list highlights two Massachusetts institutions that have earned a spot among the 100 best public high schools in the nation.

U.S. News & World Report has released its yearly ranking of the best high schools in the country, and it includes a breakdown of the top schools in Massachusetts. Overall, the report says Massachusetts is the state with the highest proportion of high schools in the top 25% of the ranking,

Among all the Massachusetts schools eligible for the list, 43 percent earned a spot in the top quarter of schools nationwide.
