Juan Soto moved cross town to the Mets after leaving the New York Yankees this offseason, and during his first plate appearance with his new team did something pretty impressive.

Soto, making his spring training debut on Saturday, crushed a 2-1 pitch from Houston Astros' left-hander Colton Gordon over the left-center field wall at Clover Park for a home run in his first Mets at-bat. According to Statcast, the ball left Soto's bat at 106.2 miles per hour and traveled 426 feet. That's some hard contact.
