India is gearing up for the highly anticipated launch of its most advanced broadband communications satellite, GSAT-20, also known as GSAT N-2.

SpaceX will launch the ISRO-developed GSAT-20 satellite next week, marking their first commercial collaboration. The satellite aims to provide internet services across India and will be launched on a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral,

GSAT-N2 (GSAT-20) is a Ka-band High throughput communication satellite of New Space India Limited (NSIL), a Government of India company under the Department of Space and the commercial arm of ISRO. GSAT-N2 is the 2nd Demand Driven satellite of NSIL.

India will launch its largest communication satellite, Gsat-20, using SpaceX's Falcon-9 rocket. The satellite, weighing 4,700 kg, exceeds the capacity of India's current launch vehicle. SpaceX was chosen due to the unavailability of Arianespace and the ongoing conflict with Russia.
